Negri Sembilan Map

Negri Sembilan is one of the states located in Peninsular Malaysia. It is located towards the western coast of the country where it borders with Selangor to the north, Malacca and Johor to the south and to the east is the neighbouring state of Pahang.

Among all the states in the country, Negri Sembilan is often regarded as being one of the ‘quietest’. It is home to some of the richest cultures in the country like the Minangkabau which can be clearly seen in its architecture and several cultural practices today.

The capital city of Negri Sembilan is Seremban while its other major towns here include Kuala Pilah and Seri Menanti which is the royal capital of the state. The most popular town here would be Port Dickson which is a coastal resort town with resorts and hotels while Nilai is a university town where there are several international institutes of higher leanings operating here.

Like the other states along the west coast, Negri Sembilan is serviced by the Norht-South Expressway where there are interchanges like Nilai, Seremban, Senawang and Port Dickson. It starts from the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Expressway (E37) which remains as one of the main roads that connects the capital of Kuala Lumpur with Seremban.

Apart from that, there is the Seremban-Port Dickson Expressway which provides the access for vehicles to travel to and from Port Dickson. Currently, another expressway known as the Port Dickson-Banting Highway is being planned which will ferry people between the 2 towns in the future.
